Dr Niall McCormack is the CEO of Aillemore Ltd., a strategy consultancy that focuses on organizations in energy and the energy transition. Aillemore works with companies internationally and in Ireland who are looking to transform their businesses into leaders in their field. Dr McCormack has over 20 years’ experience in the energy and resource business with executive roles including overseeing global growth and innovation for the petroleum division of the world’s largest resource company, BHP. He has also managed exploration in Africa, Europe, South America and the Gulf of Mexico for Hess Corp. Over the last twenty years he has been at the forefront of advancements in geoscience technology and innovation. He has a proven track record in bringing companies and major divisions from under-performing to world leaders. He publishes, lectures and teaches globally on topics from investment in exploration and innovation to inclusion and energy. What drives him is how to create a prosperous future for all; for Niall that starts with sustainable accessible energy. Niall has a B.A. (mod) and a Ph.D. in Geology from Trinity College, Dublin.
